With headquarters in Norwich, UK, and Chicago, USA, Thurne-Middleby has a global reach and network across its sector.

Maintaining a philosophy of vertical integration, all assembly and manufacturing is carried out in house by a skilled team of mechanical and electrical engineers. The Norwich site has a dedicated building for in-house production of components. Machining capability ranges from multi-axis CNC machining and milling to cutting sheet metal as well as welding, and the business has strong partnerships with external suppliers for control systems.

The Protein Innovation Center

The Protein Innovation Center is home to the Middleby Food Processing Brands’ product innovations, including the latest Thurne Slicing Equipment and Systems.

Co-located with Middleby’s Cozzini brand near Chicago O’Hare Airport, the 12,000 square foot facility is used to host both live and virtual Middleby brand events. It offers a platform for VIP demonstrations as well as technical performance and product testing.
